Behind it all was the dream and hard work of Claudio Patassini, our founder and the real reason for the success our ice cream shop has had from the get-go here in Rome's historic center. A Family Passion, Over 150 Unique Flavors
The roots of our craft go way down deep in Claudio Patassini's family history, startin' back in the early 1900s with his grandpa Stefano Barberini's dairy, and then with his mother Albina's own homemade ice cream workshop.
